While some weapons/items can be more beneficial than others, players can arrive with nothing and if they are skilled enough come out victorious. Our bosses have a number of ways to get atop them. We've been chipping away at these new items, balance, etc and are now focused to get this update out specific item is necessary to defeat a boss. Most want even more crafting, more survival etc. Below, I follow up a little more to specific discussion to hear! We get a number of people in our in-game feedback praising the crafting/survival systems and tension it can bring in. It should speak to much of what's been discussed in this thread. TLDR: We're working to have the crafting item update out next. It’s a balance for sure and we’ll take a look at ways to improve that initial player loop. We get a good chunk of feedback from players that thank us for allowing them to discover many of the systems on their own vs others that want many more tutorials. Hope you are having a good holiday today:)Īs for tutorials, it’s a pretty interesting topic. I’m still sorting out the balance of it but it should be a welcome addition for many. We’ll also be rolling out more crafting options in the near future so higher durability items will be craft-able. Seeing as you can cut down virtually any tree in the game for wood or find smaller saplings to get wood from without an axe it’s pretty forgiving. So if you find yourself having a # of swords or clubs as the game progresses you can dismantle the ones you don’t need to upgrade armor or fix up graphing hooks etc.Ĭurrently, crude grappling hooks can be made with a single piece of wood and a few crafting materials. You can also dismantle other weapons to gain back crafting materials to use with upgrading armor. Breaking a weapon in combat will cause a critical hit to the intended target so it’s not a total loss when it happens. You can repair your grapples when they are damaged/blinking red with items found in crates and dropped by enemies. Thanks for picking up the game and thanks for the feedback.
